What To Do?
Bocas Del Toro offers activities for a wide variety of people

Bocas Del Toro is not your typical tourist destination. It is a fairly remote, “third world” island that has the rustic charm those looking to get away from it all love yet still has the modern conveniences to keep you connected with the outside world.
If you are looking for your typical all inclusive, modern resort style “Cancun” or “Hawaii” type vacation then Bocas will NOT be the right place for you to visit.
The homes are located in a wonderful Panamanian community and you will not be isolated from the local population like you are at some tourist locations. Your neighbors are a mix of long term expat residents from Europe and the USA and local working class Panamanians whose families have lived here for generations.
If you are looking for adventure and want to experience and see a different way of life then by all means start planning your trip to our hidden Caribbean gem.

We strongly recommend you give yourself at least a few days in Bocas so you can experience a little activity and also enjoy the laid back vibe of the island. We have noticed the people who do not enjoy the area are those who try to rush through it and never really have time to get a feel for the Bocas way of life.
